Adidas Copa Nationale Shoes
Arriving as the latest update for the adidas Copa Nationale Shoes, this all white and silver metallic edition has been inspired by archival football boots and features smooth leather uppers with a gum outsole that holds a grip-focused tread. Multiple lines of top stitching flow across the toe vamp which holds an Adituff toe box for both decoration and to strengthen a shaped overlay panel that protects this key area from repetitive abrasion. Above this the crisp white lace up fastening holds the foot in place when on the move on top of a shaped tongue that curves to fit the shape of the foot for premium comfort. On the side panels a contemporary interpretation of the famous adidas three-stripe decoration has been added with more organic lines for a streamlined effect and around the heel a translucent synthetic overlay bears etched ‘adidas’ lettering with a small trefoil emblem to one side. The inside of the shoe features a soft fabric lining throughout, alongside a cushioned midsole, EVA heel insert and molded Adiprene sockliner which both help to increase comfort further. The supportive midsole design is accentuated with a textural surface pattern above the gum tread which features a circular pivot point at the toe and a split pattern between the heel and forefoot for an impressive level of traction.
The adidas Copa Nationale was first introduced in the spring of 2020 with a design that combined elements from the famous Copa Mundial football shoe and contemporary skate focused details that ensured suitability for modern day wear. Following the success of the initial release, the latest editions boast a more streamlined update and were featured as part of the ongoing adidas Rider Series with a collaborative design created in partnership with Mike Arnold, a pro skater known for his speed and agility.
